Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting a School Cleaner for our client in Leicester (LE5). You will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, and common areas daily, and ensuring floors are swept, mopped, vacuumed and polished.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS with Childs Barring or to be on the update service; salary is £12.71 per hour, Monday to Friday, 15:15–18:15.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required with Childs Barring or be on the update service

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste according to school policies.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in bathrooms.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report malfunctions to supervisors.
