Job summary

John Grant School is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, and common areas. The role runs Mon-Fri from 15:30 to 19:00, totaling 17.5 hours per week, with full training provided.

We value reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently. An enhanced DBS check is required for the successful candidate, paid by the employer, with a supportive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
• Clean restrooms and sanitary stations; keep stocked and tidy.
• Empty bins and maintain high cleanliness throughout the site.
• Build friendly, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Follow health and safety procedures for a safe environment.
• Identify and report defects or maintenance issues.
• Contribute to a clean, welcoming environment.
