Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a Cleaner for Diptford Primary School in Totnes, Devon. The role is permanent, part-time during term time, offering 17.5 hours per week, with hours from 3:30pm to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The pro-rata salary is £26,438.07 based on a 40-hour week, equivalent to £12.71/hour. As part of a close team you will perform day-to-day cleaning to high standards and deliver excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial cleaning environment is advantageous.
• Full training and support are provided.
• Ability to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment.
• Good communication skills with colleagues, clients and the public.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day routine cleaning and ad-hoc duties as directed.
• Maintain hygiene across all communal areas and surfaces.
• Deliver high standards of cleanliness and customer service to pupils and staff.
• Follow Norse policies and procedures and work as part of a team.
• Support a safe, welcoming environment within the school facility.
