Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting Enhanced DBS School Cleaner to join our client in Rochdale and surrounding areas. This is a part‑time temporary role working in a school environment to keep spaces safe, clean and sanitary for students and staff.

You will be employed on an ad hoc basis with hours Monday to Friday (AM/PM shifts). Prior DBS check is required; reliability, punctuality and ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check in place prior to starting
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Ensuring the school is kept tidy and hygienic at all times
• Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the management
