Job summary

Ormiston Sudbury Academy in East Ham is seeking a friendly Cleaner to join its support team, helping keep the school clean, safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. This is a part-time role with 10 hours per week across 44 weeks, working 6am to 8am, Monday to Friday.

No prior cleaning experience is required; full training on health and safety and COSHH will be provided. You should be dependable and take pride in a job well done as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• No prior cleaning experience required; training provided including COSHH and health and safety.
• Dependable and able to work as part of a friendly team.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and emptying bins.
• Keeping toilets sparkling and classrooms/meeting rooms ready for the day.
• Restocking soap and towels, storing equipment safely, and reporting issues.
• During holidays, assisting with deeper cleaning projects.
