Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a reliable School Cleaner for a primary school in SK10, Macclesfield. This part-time role runs Monday to Friday, 3pm–6pm, with start ASAP and ongoing until Christmas. You will help keep classrooms, corridors and communal areas clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, pays attention to detail, can work independently or with a team, and holds a DBS certificate or is willing to apply for one.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Willingness to obtain a DBS check if not already held.
• Experience in cleaning is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors and communal areas to maintain hygiene.
• Empty bins and manage waste according to safety guidelines.
• Ensure cleaning products are used safely and correctly.
• Work as part of a team to keep the school environment clean and tidy.
