Job summary

Aspire People are currently working with a primary school in South Manchester seeking a reliable School Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness, safety and upkeep of the premises in a hands-on role, with hours around 7am-12pm, negotiable.

You will monitor security, carry out minor repairs, manage waste, and report issues promptly. Enhanced DBS via Update Service and two referees are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We at Aspire People are delighted to announce we are now working alongside a primary school in South Manchester who are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our premises. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Working hours 7am-12pm but negotiable.
