Job summary

Education Authority is seeking a part-time cleaner to join the Cleaning Services team at Glastry College. The role covers floors, toilets and general areas, with duties including dusting, waste removal and adherence to health and safety practices. Flexible hours and team-based work are essential.

The post requires basic English communication and the ability to work under supervision to meet quality standards and safety guidelines. Training will be provided as required by EA.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cleaner in an educational setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning, including COSHH.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and buff floors using appropriate equipment.
• Clean toilets and showers and maintain fixtures and fittings.
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpets and mats.
• Dust ledges, walls and furnishings up to 3.35m.
• Empty litter bins and maintain designated collection points.
