St. Mary’s Menston, a Catholic Voluntary Academy, is recruiting two cleaners to join a supportive team. The roles are permanent, 15 hours per week, term time only plus 10 additional days, with work 3 pm to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

The post involves cleaning designated areas to a high standard, with protective clothing provided and DBS checks likely required. Salary is on the NJC Scale, £25,614 per annum full-time equivalent, with actual salary of £9,110 per annum for the part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Provide cleaning duties within a school environment.
• Demonstrate ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas within the school.
• Carry out wiping, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and toilet cleaning.
• Use and store cleaning materials safely per risk assessments.
