Job summary

Sir John Offley CE Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, organized Bursar to oversee operations and support the Headteacher. You will implement policy, manage the site and administration teams, and contribute to strategic decisions.

This permanent, part-time post is around 30 hours per week, term-time plus 5 inset days. Salary £39,152–£44,075 pro rata; actual salary approximately £27,700 based on SCP 28. Closing date 12 noon on Monday 28 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in school finance, HR and facilities management is preferred.
• Ability to implement policies and manage confidential information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and stakeholders.
• Proactive, flexible team leader with a collaborative mindset.”

Responsibilities
