Job summary

The King's School in Witney is seeking an experienced finance professional to join as Bursar on a part-time basis (32 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). The role oversees day-to-day financial management, budgeting, forecasting and management accounts, with experience in cloud-based finance software and Excel preferred.

Salary ranges from £25,742 to £29,170 (FTE £32,178 to £36,462) depending on experience. Flexible working arrangements may be discussed; start date as soon as possible with DBS

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting for a school or similar organisation.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Familiar with cloud-based financial software and managing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial management of the school.
• Prepare management accounts and budgets; monitor variances.
• Collaborate with staff, governors, and suppliers; ensure timely reporting.
