Job summary

The King’s School (Witney) invites applications for a Part-time Bursar. The role covers 32 hours per week, year-round, with potential for flexible working arrangements. You will manage day-to-day finances and work with staff, governors and suppliers to uphold financial governance.

Experience with cloud-based accounting software, MS Excel, budgeting and forecasting, and producing management accounts is preferred. Prior school finance experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Cloud-based accounting software experience preferred.
• MS Excel proficiency required.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day school finances including ledgers, payroll, and cashflow.
• Prepare management accounts and financial forecasts for the Governing Body.
• Liaise with staff, parents, governors and suppliers; ensure compliant financial processes.
