Job summary

Ambrose invites applications for the COSHC Acting Assistant Coordinator at St Aidan's Primary School, Rooty Hill. Join our School Age Care team and help deliver high-quality early learning within the My Time Our Place framework, supporting families, staff, and the wider school community.

This permanent, part-time role focuses on educational leadership, program development, and continuous improvement, with shifts across early mornings, afternoons, and school holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience in early years or school age care.
• Valid WWCC and current child safety training required.
• First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis certification mandatory.
• Working rights in Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, school principals and the community.
• Support continuous improvement across service operations.
• Educational leadership, including programming aligned with the My Time Our Place framework.
• Assist the Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and Strategic Inclusion Plans (SIP) and self-assessments to ensure actions.
• Lead, mentor and support staff to deliver high-quality early learning and care meeting National Quality Standards.
• Accept the role of nominated supervisor and responsible person.
