Job summary

Bradfords Building Supplies is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant to join our branch team on a 16 hour per week contract. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers, answering queries and assisting with stock and orders.

In this varied role you’ll work across the trade counter and yard, supporting deliveries, picking orders and promoting products and services that help customers complete their projects. We value teamwork, safety and great service, and offer full training and the opportunity

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail, warehouse operations or builders' merchants is beneficial.
• Please be positive, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
• A focus on safety and accuracy in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the trade counter and yard, helping them find products and answer questions.
• Process customer orders and support stock checks and deliveries.
• Receive deliveries, check and store stock, and help maintain a safe, organized working area.
• Promote additional products and services to benefit customer projects.
• Build strong relationships with customers and contribute to sales performance.
