Severn Valley Medical Practice is seeking a part-time salaried GP to provide comprehensive care across two sites for registered patients. The role includes general medical care, surgery, telephone consultations, and on-call triage.

The post involves 4–6 sessions per week, including a Monday, with a share of Extended Access and same-day appointments. GMC registration and relevant GP qualifications are required.

Competenze

• GP qualifications and registration requirements.
• MRCGP credential.
• Vocational Training Certificate or JCPTGP equivalent.
• CCT as General Practitioner.

Mansioni

• Provide general medical care to registered patients across both sites.
• Carry out surgery and emergency consultations, telephone consultations and on-call triage.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions on presenting problems.
• Assess undifferentiated and undiagnosed health needs.
• Undertake home visits.
• Prescribe in line with local or national guidelines.
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions, test results and patient reports.
• Write referral letters including NHS, private and e-referrals.
• Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Keep clear, contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Contribute pro rata to Extended Access.
• Collect audit data and contribute to QOF and additional service obligations.

Formazione

MRCGP

Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP

Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) as a General Practitioner
