Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking a Referral Officer for Front Door For Families, working 22 hours weekly in the MASH hub at Kingswood Street, Brighton. The role is office-based, coordinating referrals with health, education, police and other agencies to safeguard children and families.

Postholders will document information, liaise professionally with diverse clients, and ensure timely processing within a multi-agency framework. Salary pro rata with benefits; applications via email.

Qualificações

• Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• Experience of dealing with the public through telephone and email.
• Experience of researching computer systems and collating information.
• Experience of working in a confidential environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to signpost to available facilities for children and families.

Responsabilidades

• Receive contacts/referrals to Front Door For Families and progress as appropriate.
• Identify enquiries promptly and elicit information for appropriate response.
• Research and collate information from databases to support decisions.
• Respond to contacts and referrals using relevant procedures.
• Perform database searches and collaborate with external organisations for checks.
• Carry out administrative tasks and input information for accurate case records.
