Job summary

Widener University’s Robotics Engineering Program seeks highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics, AI, ML, ROS, and related topics. Part-time adjuncts may instruct 1–3 courses per semester, with day classes available.

Responsibilities include preparing course materials, meeting with students outside class time, and guiding student learning. This pool hires as openings occur; all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Minimum B.S. in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Ten years of industry experience.
Preference for candidates with a graduate degree in one of the listed disciplines and prior teaching experience.
Flexible in class scheduling; adjuncts are hired from a pooled pool as openings occur.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Robotics Engineering topics.
Prepare course materials and assessments.
Be available to meet with students outside scheduled class time and guide their learning.
