Widener University’s College of Arts & Sciences seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach Philosophy courses in Chester, PA. Immediate needs are for Business Ethics and Introductory Logic. Part-time adjuncts may teach 1 to 3 courses per semester on an as-needed basis, with courses offered during the day.

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Philosophy or related field; ABD or PhD in Philosophy preferred. Prior teaching experience and schedule flexibility are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Philosophy or related field.
• ABD or PhD in Philosophy preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
