Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a motivated Store Assistant for our Hull Superstore on a 3-month fixed term, part-time basis (12 hours per week). The role involves delivering excellent customer service, supporting fundraising targets and maintaining store standards.

You’ll act as an ambassador for the charity and help engage with the local community. The position requires flexibility for rota-based work and a commitment to safeguarding and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy customer service environments.
• Ability to manage own workload and work independently.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
• Working as part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
• Maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding, health and safety.
• Creating relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
• Taking keyholder responsibility as trained.
