Job summary

White Cross Vets Widnes is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work with our clinical team delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting client experiences.

The role includes surgical assistance, dental care promotion, nurse clinics, and services like weight management and laser therapy. 22.5 hours across 3 days per week, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, no OOH.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with medical/surgical nursing growth.
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive learning and reflection.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary team in clinical tasks, including surgical assistance.
• Promote dental care and conduct health checks and general care consultations.
• Run nurse clinics and offer services such as weight management and laser therapy.
• Develop skills across various surgical procedures and patient care areas.
