Job summary

Belmont Vets in Hereford is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will work as part of a friendly, supportive team delivering high-quality nursing care and excellent client experiences in a single-site small animal practice.

You’ll run nurse clinics, provide inpatient care, support dental procedures and monitor anaesthesia, collaborating with surgeons and the wider team to maintain clinical standards.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

We are looking for a Nurse to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Working Pattern
  • 9.1 hours per week
  • Working Fridays with shifts varying between 8:00-19:30
  • 1 in 5 Friday night inpatient duties & 1 in 5 Saturdays 08:30-17:00 with weekend inpatient duty.
