Job summary

Belmont Vets in Hereford is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Join a well‑established, single‑site small animal practice focused on high‑standards of care and excellent client experience.

You’ll work with the veterinary team across first opinion cases, running nurse clinics and supporting dental, anesthesia and surgical procedures. RCVS registration and clinical practice experience are essential; you’ll be a proactive team player

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

We are looking for a Nurse to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Working Pattern

• * 9.1 hours per week
• * Working Fridays with shifts varying between 8:00-19:30
• * 1 in 5 Friday night inpatient duties & 1 in 5 Saturdays 08:30-17:00 with weekend inpatient duty.
