Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Support Time and Recovery Worker to join Dacorum Adult Community Mental Health Services in Hemel Hempstead. The role is part-time, with hours Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and focuses on supporting service users and promoting recovery within the STAR model.

You will work closely with the Team Leader and other senior staff to implement recovery-focused care plans, contribute to day-to-day team management, ensure service

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 qualification or mental health certificate level 3, or agreement to undertake such training as resources permit.
• Commitment to Continuing Personal Development.
• Three years experience of providing mental health services from within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to an allocated group of service users and promote their recovery and independence.
• Contribute to management of a team of STAR workers through day-to-day tasks.
• Support the Care Coordinator in implementing a recovery-focused care plan for service users and carers.
• Ensure service users engage with the Care Plan and access services regularly.
• Promote independent living of service users within the community.
