Job summary

West Berkshire Community Hospital in Newbury, part of the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust, is recruiting a part-time Band 3 Radiology Department Assistant. The role supports radiography services across Ultrasound, X-ray, Mammography, CT, Dexa and MRI, delivering clinical and clerical tasks within the Radiology Team.

You will assist Radiographers and radiologists, provide patient care, reception and administrative duties, and participate in the rotational shift system while upholding the Trust CARE

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in relevant sector
• English and Maths proficiency
• Data inputting experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiographers, Consultant Radiologists and other staff in Radiology sections
• Contribute to high quality patient care and seamless service delivery
• Carry out direct patient care under supervision
• Perform patient reception duties and general admin/clerical tasks
• Participate in rotational shift system
• Work within CARE values of the Trust
