Job summary

Sonardyne in Blackbushe is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our Quality team. In this hands-on role, you will ensure that our electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies meet the highest standards before reaching customers.

Responsibilities include detailed inspections, identifying quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have experience in an engineering environment and possess strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting electronic, electrical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly documentation and parts lists.
• Knowledge of PCB assembly processes.
• Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and controls.
• Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out detailed inspections of PCBs, cables, and assemblies.
• Performing patrol inspections across production and test areas.
• Reviewing technical drawings and supporting documentation.
• Identifying quality issues and raising observations.
• Maintaining accurate records within ERP system.
