Part Time Purchasing & Logistics Manager – Manufacturing Industry

Location: Ipswich

Salary: £35-40,000 pro rata

Job Type: 25-30 hours - flexible

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for purchasing and logistics? Join our tight-knit manufacturing team and take ownership of our procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring smooth production workflows and timely deliveries.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

1. Processing purchase orders using the MRP system and maintaining accurate records.
2. Monitoring stock levels to ensure a seamless supply of materials.
3. Providing regular updates to the production team on availability, delays, and alternative solutions.
4. Managing logistics operations, overseeing the delivery of finished goods (approx. 2 shipments per week).
5. Building strong supplier relationships and maintaining purchasing records, including supplier performance.
6. Overseeing goods received, addressing issues, and driving continual improvement in procurement processes.
