Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Gateshead. This is a part-time role with a strong possibility of a full-time contract for the right candidate.

You will provide educational support for pupils in the classroom, assist the teacher with lesson delivery, and help develop pupils' social, emotional and academic development. DBS required or a willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience working 1:1 with children.
• DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Patient and supportive approach.
• Provide additional support where needed.
• Work efficiently alongside educators and support staff.

Responsibilities

Pay: £95 - £100 per day, paid weekly (dependant on experience).
