Job summary

Aspire People are seeking Student Teachers and Education Students for part-time work in schools around Manchester. You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups and assist teachers with classroom activities while gaining invaluable experience.

Ideal candidates are currently studying Primary Education or a related course, with a passion for child development, patience, and reliable communication. Flexible hours suit university commitments and pay rates are competitive.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Primary Education or a related course.
• Some previous experience working with children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
• Supporting phonics, Maths, English, and wider curriculum activities.
• Helping pupils with additional learning needs or SEND.
• Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour.
• Working with pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Gaining practical experience that complements your teacher training.
