Job summary

ACS International Schools seeks a part-time Lower School Learning Support and EAL Teacher for our Hillingdon campus. Start date asap; 0.6 FTE, permanent role with maternity cover. On-site at ACS Hillingdon, UB10 0BE. Closing date 1 November 2026.

The role supports pupils with dyslexia, EAL and diverse learning needs, working with teachers to create an inclusive environment that helps every child thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• PGCE with QTS or equivalent teaching qualification/licence.
• Fluent, professional-level written and spoken English.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use technology to support learning.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Existing permission to work in the UK, on-site at Hillingdon campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted learning support for pupils with dyslexia, EAL and diverse needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and colleagues to create inclusive learning environments.
• Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs as appropriate.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
