Job summary

Corbridge Medical Group is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse or a nurse with respiratory care experience to join the team for 2 days per week at the Corbridge Health Centre. The practice has a supportive team of GP Partners, 7,200 patients, and a purpose-built health centre in the centre of Corbridge.

The role focuses on Asthma/COPD management and general practice nursing. A friendly multidisciplinary team, ongoing training, and a flexible working pattern are offered in a dispensing practice

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with UK registration.
• Membership of recognised professional body.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cervical Cytology tests
• Immunisations (Child and adult)
• Chronic Disease Management for Asthma, COPD and some cardiovascular conditions (excluding Diabetes)
