Job summary

Police Scotland is seeking a Cleaner to join the Estates Division. You will clean designated accommodation to keep areas hygienic and compliant with Force standards. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract on a part-time basis (18.75 hours per week).

Key duties include floor care, dusting, carpet care, and waste disposal, with shifts outlined in the attached pattern. Local government pension, annual leave and ongoing training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated Police accommodation to meet quality standards through sweeping, mopping, polishing and surface cleaning.
• Maintain hygiene by cleaning sanitary fittings, tiles, and waste bins in toilet and showers.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and security practices to ensure staff and user safety.
