Job summary

2Excel Aviation Ltd is seeking a part-time Planning Technician to support our Capability Development Documentation team in Doncaster. The role covers 16 hours per week over two days (Mon-Tue) in a busy production and maintenance environment, focusing on planning and data management for Part 145 activities.

The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical/electrical engineering environments, be able to interpret technical drawings, and possess strong IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar mechanical/electrical engineering role.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Strong IT and communication skills.
• Pro-active and able to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance and modification date received into the Part 145 is added to the relevant aircraft WinAir Work Order
• Maintain the Part 145 Purchase Order tracking spreadsheet
• Transmission of data to appropriate parties
• Recording receipt back of data deliveries
• Audit completed Work Packs for correct completion prior to forwarding the Aircraft CAMO’s Tech Records Department
• General administrative duties

About the role:

We are seeking a part time Planning Technician covering 16hours per week over a two day period to join our friendly Capability Development Documentation team based in Doncaster.

We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and keen to progress within a Production and Maintenance Organisation environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has a methodical mind set with a passion for electrical or mechanical engineering in an aviation environment.

The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Ensure maintenance and modification date received into the Part 145 is added to the relevant aircraft WinAir Work Order
• Maintain the Part 145 Purchase Order tracking spreadsheet
• Transmission of data to appropriate parties

Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience of working in a similar role within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment.

• Be pro-active and comfortable working in a busy environment.
