Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic phlebotomist to join the busy phlebotomy team at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton. The role is a 20-hour position across five weekday shifts, with varied hours and locations within the hospital, including wards and outpatient clinics.

You will be committed to delivering a high standard of service in line with our Trust values and will support the phlebotomy team in providing timely, accurate blood collection and sample handling.

Responsibilities

• Take blood samples from patients
• Label tubes accurately
• Store and manage samples for Pathology
• Work as part of the Phlebotomy Department team
• Carry out phlebotomy duties on wards and in clinics across the hospital
• Adapt to changing demands of the service
