What will the Part-Time Personal Tax Manager role involve?

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax return preparation and submission.
• Providing expert advice on personal tax matters, including self-assessment, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
• Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff and offering mentorship and guidance.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities to support clients in minimising their tax liabilities.
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients and handling tax queries effectively.
• Keeping up to date with the latest tax legislation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.

Suitable Candidate for the Part-Time Personal Tax Manager Vacancy:

• ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in personal tax within an accountancy firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, including self-assessment and capital gains tax.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain tax matters clearly to clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
