Job summary

Dewis Centre for Independent Living is seeking a part-time personal care assistant to provide full personal care support such as showering, dressing, undressing and continence care. The role requires 19 hours per week on a 2:1 basis, across mornings and evenings, over 7 days.

A National Insurance number is required to be submitted, with a trial period and DBS check funded by the employer. The wage is paid every 4 weeks and appropriate holiday pay is provided, with costs for the DBS check covered

• DBS check required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care support including showering, dressing and undressing, and continence care.
• Cover morning and evening calls 7 days a week with 19 hours per week total (2:1 basis, 9.5 hours per PA).
