Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time Peer Support Worker (22.5 hours) for Buckinghamshire, split between the Whiteleaf Centre and community settings. The role relies on lived experience to support service users in employment and recovery, with training opportunities and national care certificate pathways.

You will work as part of the IPS team, delivering one-to-one peer support and group employment-focused sessions, helping people access services and maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of mental health challenges required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one peer support sessions using lived experience to support employment goals.
• Deliver employment-focused workshops and contribute to service development.
• Engage service users with care, build relationships and facilitate access to appropriate services.
