Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Peer Support Worker for the Hastings Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. This part-time role (3 days per week) requires lived experience of psychosis to support recovery-focused interventions within a multidisciplinary team at Bexhill Health Centre.

You will provide peer support, empower service users, and help link them to social services, with opportunities to co-facilitate groups and raise aspirations in the community.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of psychosis as an expert by experience.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience supporting service users to regain independence.
• Ability to co-produce and co-facilitate groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users.
• Collaborate with service users to raise aspirations and develop personal goals.
• Link with social and community services to support recovery.
• Engage with mental health service users to promote recovery and participation.
• Co-facilitate groups and support occupational performance.
