Humberston Academy is recruiting a part-time Teacher of PE and KS3 English on a 0.4 FTE basis (2 days per week: Thursday and Friday) to cover maternity leave. You will join a hard-working, supportive team committed to world-class teaching and enriching student experiences.

The role requires high standards across KS3-4, a good degree and recognised teaching qualification, with a salary pro rata to 0.4 FTE and access to pension and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a good degree in a specialist subject
• Nationally recognised teaching qualification
• Strong ability to teach across Key Stages 3–4
• Evidence of using technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Able to contribute to whole-school initiatives

Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor all students to achieve their full potential
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of your subject and curriculum developments
• Plan lessons and sequences to meet learners' needs
• Use a range of strategies aligned with Academy policies
