Hethersett Academy in England is seeking an outstanding Food and Nutrition Teacher for maternity cover, on a 0.4 full-time equivalent basis (13 hours over Wednesday and Friday). The post is fixed term until 31st December 2027 and on the Main to Upper Pay Scales (MPS to UPS) depending on experience.

You will join a supportive Trust, work with a dedicated subject team, deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum, monitor pupil progress, and contribute to high standards of attainment for pupils aged 11-16.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified teacher status and ability to teach Food and Nutrition to 11–16 year olds.
• Degree in Food & Nutrition or a relevant subject with up-to-date subject knowledge.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Aufgaben

• Teach the Food and Nutrition curriculum to the 11–16 age range.
• Plan collaboratively with the subject team and contribute to curriculum development.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide timely feedback and interventions.
• Support enrichment activities and ensure high standards of pupil work.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding, and Health & Safety requirements.
