Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to support a young woman with complex needs in Swaffham (PE37). The role is initially up to 8 hours per week, Wednesday and Friday 1–5pm, on a flexible contract, with potential to increase to 8 hours on both days.

You will assist with enteral feeding, medicines, moving and handling, and driving needs, including a vehicle large enough for a wheelchair and appropriate insurance.

Qualifications

• Support for a young woman with complex needs.
• Experience with mobile PEG feeding, administering medicines, Autism and First Aid.
• Ability to push a manual wheelchair and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support up to 16 hours per week in the home and community.
• Maintain independence and support with stairs, swimming, and mobility.
• Work under the guidance of the family and communicate clearly in English.
