Search Consultancy LTD is seeking a Payroll Officer in Stirling on a part-time, permanent basis. The role supports an established payroll team with flexible hours and a flexitime scheme.

The successful candidate will handle weekly and monthly payroll processing, manage changes, and respond to payroll queries in a confidential environment. With a focus on accuracy and compliance, you will work within a supportive team and contribute to payroll reporting and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Experience processing weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Understanding HMRC requirements and pension administration.
• Experience carrying out payroll reconciliations and maintaining controls.
• Ability to handle payroll queries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately within deadlines.
• Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes.
• Checking payroll data and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing statutory payments, deductions and pension contributions.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records.
• Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers.
• Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements.
• Ensuring payroll activities comply with legislation and internal procedures.
• Providing general payroll administration and support to the wider team.
