Job summary

Confidential in Hessle, UK is seeking a part-time payroll administrator to join the team onsite on Tuesdays, with core days Monday and Tuesday and a third day on Wed or Thu. This fixed-term role runs until 2 July 2026.

You will work on the weekly payroll and one lunar payroll, with a maximum salary of 33,000 GBP per year. iTrent experience is desirable but not essential; comprehensive user manuals are provided.

Qualifications

• Part-time payroll administrator role: 22.5–30 hours per week.
• Onsite in Hessle with Tuesdays in the office; Monday and Tuesday core days, third day (Wed or Thu) flexi.
• Fixed-term contract until 2 July 2026.
• Payroll experience desirable; iTrent experience is desirable but not essential.
• Work on weekly payroll and one lunar payroll across multiple payrolls.

Job description

• The position is a part-time role, working 22.5-30 hours per week.
• Monday and Tuesday would be core working days, with the third day being either Wednesday or Thursday. Flexibility would be required around periods of annual leave within the team.
• Our preference would be for the successful candidate to be based onsite in Hessle with the team on Tuesdays (and potentially Wednesdays).
• The position is fixed term until 2 July 2026.
• The maximum salary is 33,000.
• Our preference is to appoint on a fixed-term contract; however, we would be open to considering an interim arrangement for the right candidate.
• iTrent experience is desirable; however, we have comprehensive user manuals, so this is not essential.
• There are five payrolls covering approximately 3,000 colleagues:
• Monthly
• Lunar 1
• Lunar 2
• Weekly
• Pension
• The successful candidate would work on the weekly payroll and one lunar payroll.
