Overview

The Part Time Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing and processing payroll accurately and efficiently within the accounting and finance department. This role requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance and smooth payroll operations in Long Eaton. Our client can offer a salary up to £32,000 and a hybrid working model. Our client can be flexible on the days, whether that be 3 or 4 days between 25 - 30 hours part time. This opportunity is with a reputable organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector as a Part Time Payroll Officer (up to 30 hours per week). The company operates as a mid-sized business, focusing on delivering high-quality products and services while maintaining a robust and efficient internal structure.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees regarding payroll matters.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Calculate and process deductions such as pensions, taxes, and other withholdings.
  • Manage payroll software systems and update employee information as needed.
