Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a payroll administrator for a part-time role within a friendly finance team. You will manage end-to-end payroll, including salary changes, overtime, bonuses and statutory payments, while handling pensions, benefits, and GDPR-compliant processes.

You will also maintain holiday records, process expenses, and assist budgeting, forecasting and audits. Some flexibility around deadlines and month-end is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, finance or HR administration.
• Good knowledge of PAYE, pensions and statutory payments.
• Strong Excel and number skills.
• A careful eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
• The role is subject to DBS and credit checks.

Responsibilities

• You will run payroll from start to finish, including salary changes, overtime, bonuses and statutory payments.
• You will look after pension and benefits admin, keep payroll compliant with HMRC, pensions rules and GDPR.
• Maintain holiday records, process staff expenses and business card spend.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and audit work.
• Hours are agreed in advance, with some flexibility around payroll deadlines and month end.
