Job summary

Impression Recruitment in Halifax is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Coordinator to join a well-established business. You will manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and delivering an excellent level of service.

Working 20-25 hours over 3-4 days, you will handle CIS deductions, RTI submissions to HMRC, and pension administration while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' payroll experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Payroll.
• Experience processing end-to-end payroll.
• Knowledge of CIS is essential.
• Good understanding of RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP and automatic enrolment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet payroll deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of end-to-end payrolls accurately and within strict deadlines.
• Manage weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
• Process payroll using Sage Payroll software.
• Administer CIS deductions and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Manage statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Ensure accurate Real Time Information submissions to HMRC.
• Administer workplace pension schemes and automatic enrolment requirements.
• Respond to payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Keep up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
