Job summary

Local Care Direct in Skipton is seeking part-time Drivers to join our urgent care team. You will transport Duty Clinicians to patients' homes and other locations, with emphasis on safety, patient care and timely service.

The role offers varied shifts with in-hours and out-of-hours rates, a 4-week rolling rota, and flexible working options within a values-led organisation dedicated to high-quality community care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Extensive experience driving in cities and on motorways, both day and night.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Transport Duty Clinician safely to patients' homes and other locations as directed.
• Assist with medical equipment and medications during home visits.
• Provide patient transport services when required and support unplanned staff absences.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
