Job summary

Falkirk Council in Grangemouth is seeking a Passenger Assistant to support a Minibus Driver for transporting adult service users with learning and/or physical disabilities to and from Dundas Resource Centre. The role includes split shifts (8-10am and 2:45-4:45pm), totaling 19 hours per week.

You will provide care during travel, require a flexible, reliable approach, and have good knowledge of the Falkirk Council area. PVG membership will be paid for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide care & assistance to service users whilst travelling, boarding and alighting.
• Flexible and mature attitude with reliability.
• Experience dealing with people with disabilities.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Falkirk Council area.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Minibus Driver to transport adult service users to and from Dundas Resource Centre, Grangemouth.
• Provide care and assistance during travel and assist with boarding/alighting.
• Adhere to split shifts: Monday to Friday (8-10am and 2:45-4:45pm).
