Cabrini Health in Melbourne’s southeast is seeking a compassionate Palliative Community Registered Nurse to provide high-quality home care. You will assess and manage symptoms, support families, and work within Cabrini’s mission and values to deliver holistic end‑of‑life care.

The role is 0.8FTE (part-time) on a fixed-term contract for 12 months, based in the community setting. AHPRA registration, WWCC, and a current Driver’s Licence are essential, with strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifikationen

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
• Experience in palliative care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive assessments and guidance to manage symptoms for patients in their homes.
• Deliver expert symptom management and end-of-life care in the patient’s preferred location.
• Support patients, families and communities across diverse ages and cultures.
• Apply evidence-based nursing knowledge to guide care.
• Work autonomously within an interdisciplinary team, delegating where appropriate.
