Job summary
Marie Curie is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Lincolnshire team, delivering holistic end-of-life care in patients’ homes. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality nursing care for those with terminal illness and their loved ones.
You will network with the wider system to improve the dying, death and bereavement experience, ensuring dignity and compassion are at the heart of every interaction in line with NMC and Marie Curie
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse on NMC Register with relevant qualification and experience.
- Proven experience in palliative and end-of-life care within a community setting.
- Holistic and person-centred approach to nursing practice.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families and colleagues.
- Access to a personal vehicle and valid driving licence; travel to Lincoln, Boston and Grantham bases.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic end-of-life care in patients' homes as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality nursing care for terminal illness patients.
- Research and network to understand services and improve patient experience.
- Ensure dignity, respect and compassion guide all patient interactions.
