Job summary

University of East Anglia invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy. The role focuses on paediatric speech, language and communication needs, and evidence-based practice, contributing to the BSc programme and serving as an in-house practice educator during placements.

You will deliver modules, supervise dissertations, advise students, support recruitment, and undertake appropriate administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC, and RCOT membership.
• Extensive post-qualification experience in paediatric SLT.
• Experience delivering high-quality education in higher education or clinical practice.
• Knowledge of paediatric dysphagia.

Responsibilities

• Organise, deliver and assess modules within the BSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Develop teaching and learning materials and supervise dissertations.
• Act as student adviser and support recruitment.
• Serve as in-house practice educator through the community clinic during placements.
